Blackmoor Golf Club is a Gary Player design located south of Myrtle Beach along Highway 707. Blackmoor is a scotish style, links type facility with fantastic greens, rolling terrain and fairways that often are double tiered.  There are several holes where a forced carry is required, but the golf course is fair and playable.  Make sure to visit Murrells Inlet after you finish for dinner at Captain Dave's.

Bricklanding is located about 1 hour north of Myrtle Beach in the scenic town of Ocean Isle Beach, NC. The golf course was recently slated for redesign by LPGA tour player Amy Alcott. Fred Couples did it right when he designed this 27 hole masterpiece.  Carolina National is about 1.5 hourse from Myrtle Beach, but it is WELL worth the drive! Bent grass greens along the Grand Strand are rare, and Carolina National has some of the best. Just a fantastic golf course. Make sure you play Carolina National if you are driving south from Wilmington, or heading north on the way home.

Tradition Golf Club is a past winner of Golf Course of the Year. The conditions are always excellent, although the golf course is not very long and is a bit more traditional.
