Garden City Pavillion

Garden City Pavillion is located south of Myrtle Beach on the Garden City Pier.  The Pavillion is more of an arcade than an amusement park, but is still worth the trip.  There's plenty to do in Garden City.  The pier is one of the biggest on the Grand Strand and is a great Myrtle Beach fishing spot.  The end of the pier is more for adults offering a bar at the end of the pier and nightly music.

Huntington Beach State Park

One of South Carolina's state parks.  The park is open daily and offers a beach that resembles  Myrtle Beach before the first oceanfront hotel or condo was ever constructed.  Spend the day taking nature walks along wooded trails, walking along the beach shell collecting or grilling a lunch in the barbeque area.  This Myrtle Beach attraction is located south of Myrtle Beach about 10 miles.
